I am the youngest of four (the “baby”) with an older brother who just graduated from Boston University and two sisters the same age as me. Yes, I am indeed a triplet. I have a passion for learning, rowing, tinkering, and, of course, eating. I began my coding journey the summer following my 6th-grade year, per my robotics teacher's suggestion, and have been consumed in the art ever since. Here I hope to present some of my more recent works.
I have always found the fruits of my labor to be one of the most rewarding feelings that I experience. I work hard, as I have an inherently competitive mindset, but certainly am able to know when to, and when not to, expel my energies on particular projects. I wake up each day in hopes of learning a new skill, learning someone's story, or simply to make the world a little bit better than the day before.
Since the beginning of my coding career, I have primarily used Objective-C/Swift, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Java, C#, and Python. Most recently I've been focused on building mobile applications (particularly iOS) and seamless cross-platform communication. Historically I have had difficulty settling into a single form of development, much due to the desire to understand it all. I believe that mobile application development skills will continue to be prevalent in the future as new technologies are incorporated into preexisting mobile devices. My curiosity has not been limited to simply coding languages. I have become proficient in Autodesk Maya, AutoCAD, Adobe: Photoshop, After Effects, and InDesign, Blender, Cinema4D, and Sketch.
I am most proud of my work on Helisa, a personal health record manager which accepts, standardizes, and sends health records to and from 450 out of the 650 major electronic medical record systems. Following my personal experiences having to carry my medical history due to the inability for my doctor and hospital's systems to effectively communicate, it was clear that a solution had to be developed.
Having a diversified skill set has allowed me to work effectively in groups as I am able to be applied in a wide array of situations. Along with this, I have often functioned as a mediator between two disagreeing parties as I am often able to, at the very least, minimally understand each viewpoint.
It is my belief that I must give back to a community that has done so much for me. I started as a kid who barely knew anything about how a computer worked, and through the help of websites such as StackOverflow, I have been able to learn what I know. Here are a few of the products that I use, and ones that I am happy to help you with! Please send me an email with any questions you may have.
